Aims:To acknowledge the particular constraints on employees in seeking help from the agency Occupational Health service where there may be perceived conflict of interestsTo provide a comprehensive pathway of care and support To identify those employees who are most vulnerable (eg. in distress or with chronic mental or physical disability; or through appraisal process)
This service has been developed in response to increasing levels of stress and burn out in doctors, lawyers, managers and teachers. The Ashwood Practice is committed to promoting a healthy sustainable lifestyle for the busy professional and an enjoyable work-life balance.
One of the benefits of the Ashwood Practice is the multi- disciplinary team of mental health professionals (Consultant Psychiatrists, Clinical Psychologists and Psychotherapists).

We offer appointments to suit your needs, including late evenings.
Out of Hours:
We are available for telephone advice between 0900 and 1700 every weekday. In an emergency, a contact number for a senior Clinician is available on our answer phone out of hours.
We allow 60 minutes for a first consultation, which would include a full medical examination where appropriate. Private insurance medical examinations are also available on request.
